I really hope the Mattel Universe can exist, having Barbie or Ken turn up in this universe would be great!
(Joke: Thought of gods playing with their Mattel toys/dolls to end the chapter would be super funny!)
Masters of the Universe was executed so well, I want to dive in deep into all the old classic shows and see these characters again. The combination of the music, world & characters is something I’d love to watch again. Yes the movie runs a little too long. I don’t know enough of the lore for the Earth portions of the movie. But honestly when you’re not on earth and being amongst this fleshed out universe where the Masters of the Universe reside, it’s an epic good time!
I have to dash and leave at 6am tomorrow, so rushing this “Review” out. But honestly, I loved it. Solidly within the 8’s. Does the pacing get long, yes…but it’s not boring, so possibly an 8.5 but solidly a movie I’d love to rewatch one day.
Action was fun, characters felt like action figures from back in the 80’s. The sets were stunning. Beautiful and fully lived within. Jared Leto as Skeletor killed it! He Man (Nicholas Galitzine) honestly surprised me as well. Wasn’t sold from the trailer, but I got super filled with emotions the first time he said the lines :D. (You know what line ;)!)
With that said. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! – Thank you all for stopping by for your movie “Reviews”. I’ll be back next week with Disclosure Day….possibly Saturday :s I’ll be out hiking/camping for a week :D.
Until next time, fellow movie-goers, happy movie-going 😀
